| Administrative History | Original terms of reference (2001-2006): To develop, expand and build a relationship with external companies interested in joining the Society's Corporate Affiliate Scheme. Merged with Bicentenary Fundraising Committee to become Development & Fundraising Committee.
Following the successful re-launch of the Corporate Affiliates Scheme and the importance of that group in supporting the Society, at its meeting on 26 June 2013 Council agreed that the Development & Fundraising Committee should be disbanded and a Corporate Affiliates Committee, to be chaired by a Vice-President, be re-established from September 2013, with the main aim to facilitate, foster, maintain and grow the Corporate Affiliates Scheme and City of London Geoscience Forum.
In 2019, the Corporate Affiliates Committee was again wound up in the summer of 2019, to be replaced by the Development Committee from October 2019. |
