| Description | Copy of Richard Cowling Taylor's book 'On the geology of East Norfolk; with remarks upon the hypothesis of Mr J W Robberds, respecting the former level of the German Ocean', London: Printed for John Cochran (1827). Bound into the back are seven additional hand coloured etchings of fossils from East Anglia by Taylor with mss annotations, two of which are dated 1815. Also, six loose hand coloured etchings of fossils, versions of which appear in the above volume, again annotated by Taylor. |
| Provenance | The loose prints were housed in the Archives separately from the volume which was in the Library's rare book collection. The latter was transferred to the Archives on 23 November 2018. |
