DescriptionWatercolour and pencil studies of fragments [including a partial jaw or spine] from an unnamed fossil fish, by Joseph Dinkel, [1841-1843]. Possibly found in the Coal Measures, Carluke, Scotland, from the collection of the Carluke Committee.

[Note: the drawing is annotated 'Committee Carluke' but it is unclear what this means. However other drawings from this series with a similar annotation have specimens named after Dr Daniel Reid Rankin so it may be that it is relates to his collection.]
