| Description | Manuscript volume ‘Notes upon the Huttonian system of Geology', being an anthology of quotations from published sources, compiled by Leonard HORNER, 1809, in support of John Playfair's 'Illustrations of the Huttonian Theory of the Earth' (1802). At the top of each extract is a reference to the relevant page in Playfair's book.
