Administrative History | Established in 2013, the main aim of Science and External Relations Committee (SERC) is to develop a science strategy for the Society, not only for the meetings programme, but also including publications, external communications and library collections development. In 2015, Council agreed that SERC would be stood down (as the committee was established primarily to oversee the introduction of a Science Strategy and Science Communications Plan which was achieved) . Other matters under its Terms of Reference would therefore be taken forward by Science Committee or External Relations Committee both of which report directly to Council. |
