Description	Material relating to the special Referee Committee’s proposed revision of the rules and bye-laws concerning the publication of papers in the Society's Quarterly Journal, May-Oct 1903. Includes rough draft of minutes of the committee, correspondence about present procedures with information on those of the Linnean, Astronomical, Geographical and Zoological Societies. At the back is a copy of a printed circular which was issued to authors once a paper was submitted [1845-1856].
Administrative History	The printed circular makes reference to the Transactions which ceased publication in 1856.
