Administrative History | Formed of a chairman from a sponsoring company and up to seven other members: one from the Council, at least three Fellows of which two should be from sponsoring companies, and up to two non-Fellows from sponsoring companies, all appointed by the Council. Original objectives at its inception around 1990 included retaining existing sponsors as well as attracting new ones, while later additions to the committee's remit were to maintain a five year business plan containing proposals for expenditure, reporting to sponsors on the progress of projects, conducting surveys of members of the sponsorship scheme, and arranging lectures and social events for sponsors. |
