Administrative History | Established in 1876 under the will of Dr Henry Clark Barlow, MD (1806-1876). He bequeathed 'the sum of Five Hundred Pounds free of legacy duty, the perpetual interest of which was to be applied every two or three years, as may be approved by the Council, to or for the advancement of Geological Science, and is to be called the 'Barlow-Jameson Fund'. |
