Description | Secretary's In Letters: from SOCIÉTÉ LINNÉENNE DE NORMANDIE, Caen, (Eudes-Deslongchamps), 12 Jan 1850.
Translation:
Caen, 12 January 1850 Sir, I have communicated to the Linnean Society of Normandy at its meeting of the 7th of this month the letter in which you express the wish of the Geological Society of London to make an exchange of a complete set of the geological journal of the Society, and the complete collection of the Memoirs of the Linnean Society of Normandy. The Society gratefully accepts your proposal. I will take care of assembling the volumes of the Memoirs of our society; I will make a small parcel that I will send you; Should it be sent to your address or sent directly to the Geological Society? Please tell me which of the two ways should be used. Mr. Bonet has delivered to me, along with your letter, two pamphlets from you, of which I am very grateful. Receive, Sir, the assurance of respectful consideration with which I have the honor to be. Your devoted servant Eudes-Deslongchamps, Secretary of the Linnaean Society. |
