To the President of the Geological Society of London. Caen, 7 May 1853 Sir: The Linnaean Society has just published the ninth volume of its Memoirs. It requests the Geological Society to accept a copy of this volume following the first eight sent previously to the Geological Society. The Linnaean Society hopes that the Geological Society will be willing to continue sending its publications which are for it as for the whole world, of such high interest.
