Description	Volume containing the incoming letters to the Assistant Secretary or Honorary Secretary. Not indexed.
CustodialHistory	Previously listed as volume 17 due to presence of one letter from 1863, however the dates of the letters indicate that volumes 16 and 17 were in the wrong order and have therefore been swapped over.
Arrangement	The letters were only partially numbered presumably with a view to indexing but this did not occur so was very inconsistent. These old numbers have been retained but with the other letters adjacent to them being referenced accordingly to retain the original order.
