Description | Secretary's In Letters: from William HARDING, Tiverton, to William Lonsdale, 25 Feb 1841. Re: Regrets not being able to visit since becoming a member of the Society, but is not indifferent to its needs so offers to complete any Devonshire fossil collections, is planning to send specimens of organic and volcanic remains which are plentiful in the vicinity; enquires if his friend Captain Wilford of Woolwich would be able to use the Society's facilities for research. |
