DescriptionSecretary's In Letters: from Edward CHARLESWORTH, York, to L Horner, 10 March 1846. Re: the recent Museum Report cites Charlesworth's name in connection with a new resolution that Fellows can only borrow specimens with the express permission of Council, states that he did so and received verbal permission from the President Henry Warburton who had donated one of the three specimens he subsequently borrowed; admits he has retained the specimens for a long time due to his careful studies; requests permission to take a section from the specimen labelled 'crocodile jaw, Walton, Essex'; would also like to borrow further specimens of crocodile jaws in the Society's collection for a publication.
