| Description | Manuscript index of maps, sections and prints in the Society's Library, [1820s-1830s], including a record of who donated each item and its location in the Museum. Parts of the volume are quite empty, but subjects have been laid out for additions. Most of the entries are for items donated between c.1811-1838, but at the back of the volume are loose sheets which presumably were intended to be added, including a sketch map of Devonshire which accompanied specimens given to the Society in 1818 by Charles Worthington. It may therefore be that the volume was an attempt to retrospectively collate the holdings together. |
