Esqr, author of the work entitled 'Manual of Mollusca', London 1851-1856. References are made in the Catalogue to the page in the above work where the shell is described. A copy is in the Library, which is not allowed to circulate. The Types of Extinct Genera are distinguished by an asterisk. This collection has been mainly formed by the donation in the year 1829 of the late Captain Apsley FGS. The names of other Donors are recorded."
