Description	Diazo and 35mm microfilm copies of the Geological Society Museum catalogues compiled by Charles Davies Sherborn, 1890-1900. Comprises: 1) 'Register II - British. Sharp Collection and missing types' 2) 'Register III - Foreign' 3) 'Register IV - Foreign' Entries are generally brief: specimen reference; name of specimen; locality; Museum location; author & published reference.
Administrative History	Charles Davies Sherborn compiled the final, complete register of the Museum collections between 1890-1900. These registers were used for the transfer of the collection to the Natural History Museum and Museum of Practical Geology in 1911.
Provenance	Diazo film donated by the Library of the NHM, October 2014. Duplicate 35mm film of Register II donated by Hugh Torrens, July 2018.
