A third ballot box, made of varnished pine/deal, late 19th/early 20th C? The box has two brass handles and a slot at the top for ballots which was used during the voting at AGMs.
ProvenanceThe more modern ballot box, which looks like it was custom made for the use of the Society, was transferred to the Archives in June 2026 as the new voting systems are entirely online and the box was no longer needed.
