| Administrative History | Unlike the photographs of ordinary Fellows, many of the images of the Foreign Fellows and Correspondents are signed and dated. Additionally it seems to have been common practice that once elected, the new honorary member was relatively prompt in sending the Society a likeness of themselves. Therefore, for those which are not dated, it is very likely that the image is probably contemporary with their date of election. |
