| Administrative History | The portraits appear to have been collected either retroactively or during various phases throughout the Society's history. Some images are merely black and white photographic reproductions of works held elsewhere and although there are better quality images of the sitters elsewhere in the collection, these were probably collated to be framed as part of a Past Presidents picture series. There are gaps in the series, but as mentioned above, the missing portraits may be found elsewhere in the collection. |
