Description	Frame containing the Institution of Geologists President's badge of office, 1984, alongside a typescript description by Brian Hunt on its origins. The badge appears to be made of enamelled brass.
Administrative History	The badge was originated and donated by Professor John Knill and was first presented and worn by Dan Ion on 17 March 1984.
CustodialHistory	The frame was displayed in the Lecture Theatre until 2019.
