DescriptionPrinted section, 'Géographie des Plantes Equinoxiales', outlined and written by Alexander von Humboldt, drawn by Schoenberger and Pierre Jean François Turpin, engraved by Bouquet and Beauble, Paris 1805. Partially dissected on cloth.

The section is essentially a physical portrait of the Andes around the Chimborazo and Cotopaxi volcanoes, in Equador. On both sides are lists of botanical species, scientific information and other phenomena associated with various altitudes.
