| Description | Copy of journal 'Asiatic Researches; or Transactions of the Society, Instituted in Bengal, for enquiring into the history, the antiquities, the arts and sciences and literature of Asia', vol XVIII (1833), which belonged to George Bellas Greenough. Within the volume are geological maps and sections of areas in India, which have been annotated in pencil by Greenough. These are likely to have formed part of the research for Greenough's 'Physical and Geological Map of India' (1854). |
