Llyn-Moelfre, a landslip-dammed lake' [In the foreground is the alluvium on the site of the lake when it was larger. At the far end of the lake is the barrier of fallen debris - Llandeilo shales and sandstones - by which the water is held up, and the gorge by which the lake has been partly drained.
