Galapagos 95.5°W" [published in the 'Journal of Geophysical Research', vol 91 (1986) pp3369–3393] which was the stimulus for McKenzie's paper, 1984-1989; letter from Donald L Turcotte, requesting a review of the article by Martin C Kleinrock 'Comment on "The Geometry of Propagating Rifts" by D P McKenzie', which points out errors in the equation calculations in McKenzie's original paper, 3 April 1989, with copy reply from McKenzie agreeing that he did indeed make a mistake, 10 April 1989.
