| Arrangement | The arrangement of these files is initially chronological (based on the bibliography sent by McKenzie), but by the mid 1970s, as McKenzie's interests widen and as a consequence works on multiple topics at the same time, the files have been split into subjects indicated by file titles. The majority of the files are attributed to published articles, which were identified by McKenzie when preparing his archives for the transfer to the Society in 2013-2014. The file titles given were written on the outside of folders, but for preservation reasons these folders have not been retained. Within the files, and unlike the correspondence series, the order of the material as found has been retained unless otherwise stated. Files are described from the front to back, but in some cases this may appear in reverse chronological order.
Note on dates: although offprints of academic articles by others may range widely in dates, the date given to each file relates to when it was created or the information was collated. |
