Description | Two pencil and watercolour drawings of Venezuela by George Parkes WALL, 1859:
1) 'Cumana exhibiting the buildings destroyed by the earthquake on August 15 1853', showing a bird's eye view of the town and landscape labelling the buildings which have been destroyed. 2) 'The Morros of San Juan in the western range', view of the landscape pointing out areas of limestone and sedimentary strata. |
