DescriptionDigital copies of loose photographs and a photographic album recording scenes in New Zealand, Egypt and the return to Singapore in 1948. The album has been annotated by Alexander's daughter Mary when she was a child. However the Singapore images show scenes of the Alexanders' weathering experiments.
Administrative HistoryAlexander and her children were evacuated to New Zealand from Singapore in 1942. She and her husband, who had been a POW during the War, returned to Singapore in January 1948. Their children were sent to Britain.
