Administrative History | In 1960 Macfadyen retired from the Nature Conservancy but was still employed on a part-time basis to complete the first (and only) of a projected series of handbooks on the protected geological and geomorphological sites in Britain. It was published as ‘Geological Highlights of the West Country’ (1970). |
