The volume was given by Scotland to Alfred John Jukes-Browne, with covering letter inserted at the front. The pages are extensively annotated and corrected by Scotland, presumably connected to the comments about the poor quality of the printer on the 'Errata' page. The maps, which appear to have been printed using a technique similar to spirit duplication and are faded (again, presumably, as a result of the poor printing process), have been drawn over by hand and in some cases coloured by Scotland. |
