Dissected on cloth, 4 miles to 1 inch. Most of the map is blank.
Administrative HistoryA later version of the base map is in the Greenough collection (LDGSL/947/6/E/2) and was used as part of the research for the Society's 'Geological Map of England & Wales' (1820, 1840). As Buckland collaborated with Greenough on the map, this item could be related.
