Description | Rough manuscript draft and notes relating to Adam Sedgwick's paper 'On the Older Palaeozoic Rocks of North Wales', [1843]. Draft appears to have been constructed by cutting up sections from Sedgwick's original paper with additions by a number of hands, presumably in preparation for publication. File also contains sketches of geological sections and a letter from John William Salter [who accompanied Sedgwick to the area in the summer of 1843] to Henry Warburton, President, regarding corrections to the paper. |
