DescriptionWatercolour, with scale structure details, of two specimens of the fossil fish Eurynotus fimbriatus Agassiz, likely to be by Theodor Hellmuth, [1835]. Found in coal, New Haven, near Leith [Edinburgh], from the collections of William Buckland and Charles Murray Cathcart, Lord Greenock, later 2nd Earl of Cathcart. Drawing is annotated by Agassiz and dated 1841.
