DescriptionWatercolour of the fossil fish Platysomus Rhombus Agassiz, by Joseph Dinkel, [1832-1833]. Found in Zechstein, Mansfeld, from the Musee de Paris [?Museum of Natural History, Paris]. Item not published but is marked as 'figure 5', and probably relates to Agassiz, J L R. 'Recherches sur les Poissons Fossiles' (1833-1843), Vol 2, Tab 15.

Annotated at top of image 'Familia: Lepidotes Agass' which indicates Agassiz's early arrangement.
