| Administrative History | According to Agassiz's published text he was unsure of the genus and thought it may be either 'Tetragonolepis altivelis Agassiz' or 'Dapedius' [written on the drawing], but after seeing specimens of Semionotus latus in the Museum of the Société géologique de France he changed his mind in 1833. The next drawing on this sheet is from the latter collection and is dated 1832. |
