DescriptionWatercolour of an imperfect specimen (trunk with scales), with cross-section and scale details, of the fossil fish Megalichthys Hibberti Agassiz, by Charles Weber, [1835]. From Leeds Museum. Locality is marked as being Carboniferous [Limestone], Burdie House, Scotland, but in Andrew's listing this is marked as being incorrect. The locality, according to Agassiz's published text is likely to be the same as the other specimens, from East Thickley.
