DescriptionWatercolour sketch of an imperfect, partially skeletised specimen of the fossil fish Caturus furcatus Agassiz, by Charles Weber, [1831]. Found in Solnhofen, from Munich Museum. Unpublished but drawing marked '[Tab] 59g, [fig] 1'.

Weber's signature also states '42' but this appears to be a running count of drawings made not a date. Also, the top of the drawing may have originally been annotated with a speculative genus which has since been erased.
