Watercolour of a complete specimen of the fossil fish Microdon analis Agassiz, by Joseph Dinkel, [1832-1834]. Locality: Solnhofen. Collection: Mus Argentorat [Argentoratum is the Latin name for Straßbourg].
Note: the top of the drawing has indications of early family/genus notes which have been erased.
