Watercolour studies of two partial fin spines from the fossil fish Ptychodus spectabilis Agassiz, by Joseph Dinkel, [1834-1836]. Locality: Chalk, from the collection of Gideon Mantell. According to the printed text, the specimens were found in the Chalk of Lewes.
