DescriptionWatercolour of a tooth of the fossil fish Hybodus grossiconus Agassiz, probably by Joseph Dinkel, [1832-1834]. Locality: Stonesfield, Oxfordshire. According to the printed text the specimen was from the collection of Ecole des Mines. The drawing is annotated 'Mr Voltz', which presumably refers to the palaeontologist Philippe-Louis Voltz (1785-1840) who classified the collections of Ecole des Mines.
