DescriptionWatercolour of two scales of the fossil fish Hypsodon Lewesiensis Agassiz, by Joseph Dinkel, [1835-1836]. The drawing is captioned 'Cladocyclus lewensiensis Agass.' According to the printed text, although published under the genus Hypsodon, it is likely to be Cladocyclus. The specimens were from the Chalk in Lewes, in the collection of Gideon Mantell.
