Description | Three watercolour studies of single teeth of the fossil fish Poecilodus angustus, Ctenoptychius crenatus and Helodus mitratus, by Joseph Dinkel, [1841-1843]. Found in the Coal Measures, Lanarkshire, Scotland, from the collection of the Carluke Committee.
[Note: the drawing is annotated 'Committee Carluke' but it is unclear what this means. However other drawings from this series with a similar annotation have specimens named after Dr Daniel Reid Rankin so it may be that it is relates to his collection.]
