Administrative HistoryCollected/drawn as part of the research for Louis Agassiz's 'Recherches sur les Poissons Fossiles' (1833-1843/1844). Note: does not seem to be the specimen mentioned by Agassiz as "a fairly well preserved head" in Leeds Museum which he tentatively named "Megalichthys maxillaris" [see: Agassiz (1833-1843/1844), vol 2(ii), p96, reproduced vol 2, tab 63], therefore could be from Burdie House, Scotland.
