DescriptionWatercolour study of a large bone from an unidentified fossil fish, by Edmund Gustavus Müller, 1838. Found in the Lias, Horfield near Bristol from the collection of James Johnson. Also marked 'Stuchbury', which is likely to indicate Samuel Stutchbury, curator of the Bristol Institution, who sent Agassiz drawings from Johnson's collection.
