DescriptionWatercolour studies of three individual specimens of scales of the fossil fish Lepidotus unguiculatus, probably by Joseph Dinkel, [1834-1836]. Annotated 'Somerset House' and 'Lonsdale', so is likely to be from the collection of the Geological Society at Somerset House. William Lonsdale was curator of the Museum between 1829-1936.
