DescriptionPencil drawing, with dark watercolour background, of the vomer [teeth] of the fossil fish Pycnodus rugulosus Agassiz, by unknown artist, [1835-1837]. According to the printed text, it was found in the sandy oolite in Northamptonshire, and was communicated to Agassiz by William Buckland.
