Watercolour of the fossil fish Osteolepis major Agassiz, by Joseph Dinkel, [1841]. Found in Lethen-Bar, from the collection of Lady Gordon-Cumming. Note: the published text states that the specimen was discovered by Rev Gordon in the environs of Gordon Castle.
