DescriptionWatercolour of an imcomplete specimen (trunk and scales) of the fossil fish Glyptopomus minor Agassiz, by Joseph Dinkel, [1840-1845]. Found in Dura Den, Scotland. Ascribed both on the drawing and in the published text as being from the collection of Robert Jameson. However Mahala Andrews states this is a mistake and it was from the collection of the Rev John Anderson who had sent it to Jameson for Agassiz to view.
