Ink and wash drawing of a microscopic, transverse section of a medulla of a tooth of the fossil fish Dendrodus hastatus [Lamnodus hastatus in printed index], probably by Carl Vogt, [1840-1842]. Found in Riga, Latvia, from Christian Heinrich Pander.
