DescriptionWatercolour study of a complete specimen of the fossil fish Pleuropholis longicaudus Egerton, by Joseph Dinkel, 1856. Found by Mr W Brodie of Swanage in Middle Purbeck [in bed 69 in Mr Austen's table of the Purbeck strata]. Marked '1856 3' in the corner.
