| Description | Watercolour study, with scale details, of an incomplete specimen [tail] of the fossil fish Caturus maximus [annotated later 'Pholidophorus'], by Joseph Dinkel, [1834-1844]. Found in Oolite, Solnhofen, from the collection of William Willoughby Cole, 3rd Earl of Enniskillen.
